Mr. Jerry Horace Morrison, Jr. 49, of Gillsville, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.
Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2022 in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Josh Chatham will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Monday from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Born July 29, 1972 in Gainesville, he was the son of Doris Ann Holland Morrison and the late Jerry Horace Morrison, Sr. He was employed with Simpson Trucking where he was a driver. Mr. Morrison was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his father, Mr. Morrison was preceded in death by his brother Shoan Morrison.
Mr. Morrison is survived by his sons, Devin Morrison of Gainesville, Dylan Morrison of Cleveland; mother, Doris Morrison of Gainesville; sister and brother in law, Lori and Johnny Kenimer of Dahlonega; sister, Missy Morrison; brother, Chad Morrison and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
