Mary Ruth Fendley

Mary Ruth Fendley born September 3, 1932, age 89, loving wife of late RL Fendley, Mary was a devoted mother of 3 passed away Saturday evening, July 9 th , 2022.
Mary was born in rural Georgia surrounded by 7 siblings. Mary had incredible love for her husband of 71 years her children and extended family, she was the glue that made her family strong and loving.

Anytime anyone needed a shoulder to lean on, she was always welcoming and never judgmental. Mary worked as a seamstress occasionally but most of the time was homemaker, taking care of the
family she loved so much. She was so kind hearted and caring to find anyone to disagree would be impossible.

Her hobbies and interests included sitting on the swing holding hands with her husband of 71 years as well as gardening and travelling. What really kept Mary grounded was that she was a woman of faith
and would say that she prayed for her family by their name every night . Mary was a wonderful woman and a beautiful mother and would talk endlessly about her grandchildren (“Youngins” as Mary would say).

Mary is proceeded in death by her beloved husband RL Fendley, Daughter - Diane Maples, Grandaughter - Amy Barnett, Mother - Nettie Dunson, Father-Jessie Dunson and several sisters and brothers. Surviving children-Ronnie Fendley (Geraldine) of Cleveland GA and Daniel Fendley (Sabrina) of Prescott, AZ. 2

Surviving sisters/ 6 grandchildren (Scott Fendley, Angie Stokes (Scott), Cody Fendley, Derrick Fendley (Joanna), Austin Fendley and Danielle Fendley/12 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.
