Gene "Romeo" Alexander Finley

Gene “Romeo” Alexander Finley, age 51, of Toccoa, Georgia (formerly of Cleveland, GA) passed away at his residence on Monday, July 11, 2022. 

A son of the late Joseph Victor Finley and Nellie English Finley, he was born May 16, 1971 in Stephens County, Georgia.  Gene was employed with Yoder’s Building Supply. He delivered building supplies to many locations from the north Georgia mountains to the Carolinas. He loved being in the outdoors hunting and fishing as well as enjoying Nascar on Sundays.  Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Victor Finley and Nellie English Finley, and his brother, Aubrey Finley.

Survivors include his sons, Austin (Amanda) Finley and Carson Finley and twin grandsons, Blake and Cooper Finley, all of Cleveland, Georgia.

Gene’s wishes were to be cremated and for his ashes to be spread on the family pond in Toccoa, Georgia.  Plans for a memorial service will be made at a later date.
