Barbara Ann Sosebee

Ms. Barbara Ann Sosebee, 66, of Dahlonega, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022 following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Drewery Loggins will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday until the funeral hour.

Born on March 21, 1956 in Gainesville, she was the daughter of the late E.S. Patterson and the late Nellie Millwood Patterson. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Dawson County.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Sosebee was preceded in death by her sister, Gloria Chamblee.

Mrs. Sosebee is survived by her daughter and son in law, Kimberly and Jared Smith of Gainesville; son, Kelly Ricketts of Dahlonega; granddaughter, Haley Ricketts; grandsons, Landon Lee, Austin Smith; sisters and brothers in law, Nancy and Rudy Strickland of Dahlonega, Judy and Scott Boyd of Lewisburg, TN, Sharon Davidson of Clermont; brother, Randall Patterson of Gainesville and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
