William Leslie (Bill) Fargason, Jr.

William Leslie (Bill) Fargason Jr., a lifelong Gainesville resident, passed away on July 19, 2022, following an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his father, William Leslie Fargason Sr., his mother Mauryce Harrison Fargason, and his nephew Ryan Spencer Roberts.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Erin Fargason Davis of Flowery Branch, his sisters, Dr. Patricia Fargason of Gainesville, and Sherry Fargason Roberts of Roanoke, Alabama. He is also survived by his nieces Lesley Roberts Richards of Mobile, Alabama, Courtney Roberts Diepenbrock of New Orleans, Louisiana, Peyton Sharpe of Charleston, South Carolina, Meg Bennett Middleton of Roswell, and nephew Zach Bennett of Gainesville.

He was a graduate of Gainesville High School, where he played varsity basketball and baseball. He attended West Georgia College.  Bill was an avid sports fan.  He loved his Georgia Bulldogs and Sunday afternoons on the golf course.

There will be a time of visitation for family and friends on Sunday, July 24, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 at Little & Davenport Funeral Home.
