Amanda” Irene “Watson was born August 31, 1940, in Hall County, Ga to Mr. Paul Watson Sr. and Mrs. Wessie Glasper Watson. She attended the Mt. Zion Baptist Church School. Irene attended the Faith Outreach Ministry.
Irene departed this life on August 1, 2022, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center after an extended illness. She is preceded in death by her parents Mr. Paul Watson Sr. and Mrs. Wessie Glasper Watson and brothers Larry and George Watson.
She leaves to mourn her passing; One daughter and caregiver Kimberly Watson of Gainesville, GA. One son Terry (Connie) Watson of Calera, AL. One granddaughter Journeyah Watson of Flowery Branch, GA. One Grandson Terry Watson Jr. of Anderson, IN. One sister Mrs. Anna Bell Stringer, Gainesville, GA. Five brothers Paul Watson, Mainaschaff, Germany, James Watson, Hoschton, GA, Ray (Mamie) Watson, Oakwood, GA, Johnny Watson, Gainesville, GA., Jerry (Mary Jo) Watson, Riverdale, GA. And sister-in-law’s Rose Watson, Gainesville, GA. and Deidre Watson, Jefferson, GA. special first cousin Lois Ellison. And a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ms. Irene's visitation will be held on Thursday, August 4th between the hours of 6-8pm at New Life Missionary Baptist Church. The Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 5th at the hour of 1pm at New Life Missionary Baptist Church.
