Eleanor Gene Witsell

Mrs. Eleanor Gene Witsell, age 83 of Flowery Branch, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022 at the Oaks Assisted living and Memory Care at Braselton.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Witsell was born November 1, 1938 to Joel & Lillian Leftwich in Eudora, Arkansas. She was a retired Executive Assistant for Accenture and attended St. Mary & St. Martha of Bethany Episcopal Church.

She is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Marie & David Dusse, Carolyn & Robert Benson, and Katherine & Dave Pappas; 5 grandchildren, Brittany & Todd Whitaker, Blake & Caitlin Diettrich, Bryce & Chelsea Diettrich, Lauren & Lyman Wostrel, and Michael Benson; 2 step grandchildren, Kyle & Amanda Pappas, and Zachary & Deborah Pappas; 11 great-grandchildren; and 3 step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Postell Witsell.
