Gladys Dudley

Mrs. Gladys Dudley, 98, of Gainesville passed away Friday, August 5, 2022 at Anniston Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Pastor William Bill Long will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Born April 13, 1928 in Watley, AL, she was the daughter of the late Collin Bailey and the late Clara Beard Bailey. She was a homemaker and a member of Action Word Ministry.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dudley was preceded in death by her husband, Clement Dudley; sons, Sherman Bailey, Archie Dudley; daughters, Eatherlene Thomas and Victoria Dudley.

Mrs. Dudley is survived by her daughters, Clement Dean Kemp (Michael) of Gainesville, Clara Sales of Aniston, AL; son, Leon Dudley of Oxford, AL; daughters, Rosemary Bowie of AL, Gladys Thorntan (Roosevelt) of Gainesville, Ella Dudley (Charles) of Athens, GA; son, Walter Dudley (Swangela) of Gainesville and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other loving relatives.
