Clyde Grizzle

Clyde Grizzle, age 72 of Lula entered rest Saturday August 6, 2022 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville.

Clyde was born July 6, 1950 in Dahlonega to the late Jim & Lois Rider Grizzle. He worked for over 20 years as a carpenter with Con Agra. He loved spending time with his family & he loved the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, Hunter and he took great pride in his garden and taking care of his family. He was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Ed, John, Hubert, Bill & Ernest; 1 sister, Zona.

Left to cherish fond memories, his loving wife of 53 years, Marie Grizzle; sons, Ray, Harold (Melinda), Chris (Sarah) & Troy (Kristy); grandchildren, Austin (Angel), Ben, Taylor, Alex, Tesa (Trey), Brittany, Elizabeth (Ross), Brandon, Zeb & Ashlyn; great grandchildren, Bolton, Tinsley, Delany, Gracie & Aiden; brothers, Herbert (Martha), Grady (Patricia) & Henry; sisters, Stella, Fannie, Lila & Annie. A number of nieces, nephews and other family members also survive.

Funeral services honoring Clyde will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chad Dale officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Lumpkin County. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8p.m. Tuesday August 9, 2022 at the funeral home.
