Betty Hinderscheid Gray

Betty Hinderscheid Gray, 89, of Gainesville, passed away peacefully with Hospice on August 9th, 2022 at NEGA Medical Center. She was born July 26, 1933 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Mildred Hinderscheid; her siblings William (Bill) Hinderscheid II and Doris Grimm; and her son, Thomas (Tom) Vahey.

Betty is survived by her sons: William (Chip) Vahey and his wife, Alice, and his daughters, Andrea Vahey, and  Elizabeth Smith and her husband, Jacob, and their two children, James and Marissa; James (Jim) Gray and his wife, Kim, and their children, Sawyer and Stella. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christopher Vahey, Ryan Vahey and Trey Vahey, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and her special friend, Geraldine Hannon.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
