Walter L. "Bud" Peterson

Walter L. "Bud" Peterson, 86 passed away peacefully the morning of August 13, 2022.  He was born November 14th, 1935 in Burge, Nebraska to Delmer Peterson and Rachel Elsie Lux.

Bud and his family moved to Gainesville, GA in 1969, where he opened his business Peterson Engineering Service in 1974; providing gainful employment to the residents of this area for 38 years. 

Bud is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Lorraine; children Tim (Resel), Tonya "TonI' Howe (Warren), and Ty (Seema); grandchildren, Taylor, Buddy, Peterson, and Mac Howe.

He was preceded in death by his son Thomas Delmer Peterson; sisters, Delmira Peterson Oatman and Neva Peterson Forbes.

Bud was and will always remain a large presence in the lives of his close relatives, extended family and far-reaching friendships.
