William Thomas "Tommy" Nix

Mr. William Thomas “Tommy” Nix, age 74, of Nicholson, GA died Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital.  Mr. Nix was born in Commerce to the late Wilson and Geneva Kesler Nix.  He was a member of Nicholson Baptist Church and was retired from Roper Pump Company.

Mr. Nix is survived by his wife, Laura Katherine “Kathy” Rogers Nix of Nicholson; sons, Robert Nix and Daniel Nix both of Nicholson; sister, Brenda Woodall of Winder; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Friday, August 26 at Nicholson Baptist Church with Rev. Russ Brown and Rev. Brandon South officiating.  Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5 to 8 PM.
