Eleanor Garner Franks

Eleanor Garner Franks, age 84, of Auburn, GA passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clettis Nelson and her second husband, Glenn Franks; parents, Jack and Rosa Higgins Garner; six brothers and six sisters. Mrs. Franks is survived by daughters, Sheila Jordan of Auburn, and Angie (Greg) Harrison of Hoschton, GA; grandson, Brandon Harrison; sister-in-law, Clara Garner of Norcross, GA; brother-in-law, Bill Riggins of Kennesaw, GA; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Franks was born on May 5, 1938 in Duluth, GA and graduated in 1955 from Duluth High School. She was retired from Sears Roebuck Fashion Center after forty years of service, and she was a member of North Metro Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, GA. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Holcombe officiating. Interment will follow at Sugar Hill Cemetery in Sugar Hill, GA. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 26 from 9:30 a.m. until time for the service at 2:00 p.m.
