Frank D. Luther

Frank D. Luther, age 77, of Loganville, GA, formerly Buford, GA, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Diane Luther; parents, Roy and Mary Luther; sister, Brenda Luther Baucom; brother-in-law, Samuel Sloan.  Mr. Luther is survived by his sister, Roberta Luther Sloan of Loganville, GA; nieces, Angie Baucom of Hampton, FL, Pam Baucom of Waldo, FL, Lisa Rhodes of Dawsonville, GA; great-nieces, Kaylee Roberts of Stark, FL, Macy Pettus, Vancouver, WA; great-nephews, Dusty McElhenny of Stark, FL, Tommy Rhodes of Athens, GA, Peyton Pettus of Cumming, GA; several cousins.  Mr. Luther was born on September 28, 1944, in Buford, GA and graduated from North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, GA.  He retired from the Gwinnett County Water Department after 30 years of service.  Mr. Luther was of the Baptist faith.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 31, 2022, in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Thrasher officiating.  Interment will follow the service at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, Snellville, GA.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home.
