Nancy Ann (Grindle) Thomas

Nancy Thomas 80, of Gainesville, Georgia, went to be with the lord on August 27, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

She was born January 8, 1942, in Jackson County to the late William Luther and Susie Bryant Grindle. She was the widow of Franklin Stanley Thomas. They shared 57 years together.

She worked as a seamstress at Blue Bell, Warren Featherbone Co, and Barry Mfg. She also worked at Gainesville Mill. She was of Baptist faith. She enjoyed crocheting. She was a wonderful mother and always there when you needed her.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, David & Rebecca Thomas of Oakwood and a daughter and son-in-law Carolyn & Bobby Ocamb of Gainesville, a grandson and granddaughter in-law, Robert Thomas & Kaitlin Ocamb. A brother William Harold Grindle and a sister Lynda Gail Robinson.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Memorial Park Riverside Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Alta Vista Cemetery.
