Moelete Shauker Stephens was born on March 30, 1997, to Jarron Henderson and Angelia Stephens Henderson in Gainesville, GA. He attended Antioch Baptist Church where he learned fundamentals that would help him navigate through life, having a solid spiritual foundation to lean on. He was a graduate of Johnson High School, soon after embracing his career path which led him to his late employment at Fieldale Farms. Moelete was a loving and caring person, with a great sense of humor, always making someone laugh. Family meant the world to him. He was always grateful for friends, highly sociable and was open to embracing new people along the way. But what he loved the most was basketball.
On September 2, 2022, at the tender age of 25, he departed this world. Leaving behind not only all of those whom cared for him dearly, but also any troubles or worries that followed. He was proceeded in death by his grandmothers Mrs. Lurlene Stephens and Ms. Wilma Diane Cook Watkins.
He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his parents Jarron and Angelia Henderson, his brothers, Keon Grant of Douglasville, GA, Jarron Henderson of Gainesville, GA, his sisters Andreaka Henderson, Lurina Henderson, Miracle Henderson, Myrafaith Henderson all of Gainesville, GA, Karly Daniel of Suwanee, GA, his grandparents Mr. Samuel Stephens of Gainesville, GA, Leroy and Karen Henderson of Buford, GA, his aunts Cher (Tim Watkins) Stephens, Nita (Eddie Jr.) Ramsey, Janice Stephens all of Gainesville, GA, Angela Cook of Buford, GA, Melanie Harris of Atlanta, GA, his uncles, Sam Stephens of Gainesville, GA, Javaris Henderson of Atlanta, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, Joshua Ramsey, Quon Stephens and friends.
Moelete may no longer be present with us physically, but may he live on in our hearts until we meet again.
The visitation will be held Friday between the hours of 12-8pm at Wimberly Funeral Home. Moelete's Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 10th at 12noon at Antioch Baptist Church. Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
