John A. Dugas, 73, of Buford, GA, died suddenly Thursday, September 8, 2022. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Danny Newbern will officiate. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 14 from noon – 2:00 PM at the funeral home. John is survived by his wife, Sandy Dugas of Buford; sister, Barbara Cheney; brothers, Richard Dugas and Morgan Dugas; son, Jeremy Dugas, all of Denham Springs, LA; numerous nieces and nephews. John was born in Denham Springs, LA and had lived in the Atlanta area for the past 20 years. He was retired from AT&T and was a Veteran of the US Army where he served in Vietnam.
