Robin Lasha Tanner

Robin Lasha Tanner was born April 8, 1969, in Gainesville, Ga to the late Lounette Macon Tanner and Jesse Townes.
 
She attended Gainesville High School. She was a hard worker and very active in her community. Robin loved her grandboys. She had a heart of gold, if she could help you, she would help. But if she couldn’t help. She would point you in the right direction to get it done. The love she had for the paparazzi was out of this world. She would often sell different pieces and even starting her a collection.
 
Robin was a very devoted mother and grandmother (Nana) departed this life on Friday, September 16, 2022, in Killeen, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 siblings Sybil, Stacey Tanner, and Travis Townes, and one granddaughter Aniyah.
Robin leaves a loving and devoted family to cherish her memory, one daughter Quinshayla (Twon Coats) Burce, one son Statavious Cheek. Grandsons Ladarious, and Malik Vanison, Sencir Watson and Preston
Watson. Siblings Betty (Charles Sims) Tanner, Bridigit (Roy) Wilkins, Sharon Townes, Dana Tanner, Tracy Tanner, Parris Townes, Marcus Townes, and Chad Townes. Two aunts Jerri Tanner and Doris Bullock. And brother n law James “Chipper” Byron. One uncle Billy Ray Tanner. A host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.
 
The visitation will be held Friday, September 23rd at Wimberly Funeral Home between the hours of 12-8 pm. Robin's Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 24th at the hour of 2 pm at First Baptist Church. Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
