Chester Timothy “Tim” Jamison

Mr. Chester Timothy “Tim” Jamison, age 70 of Defoor Road, Eastanollee, GA, passed away Friday, September 23, 2022 in the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A son of the late Glenn and Rose Jamison,   Tim was born August 22, 1952 in Rabun County Georgia, having lived most of his life in Stephens County, Georgia.  He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Vermont American and was a member of Zebulon Baptist Church. Tim loved hunting and fishing.  .

Survivors include three brothers E.D. (Shirley) Jamieson of Gainesville, GA,, Roy Jameson of Toccoa,  Jack Jamison of Locust Grove, GA, sister Glenda Cheesbro of Toccoa, GA. a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Don Grizzle and the Reverend John Thomas officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, September 26, 2022 from 6 until 8 PM.

The following will serve as pallbearers, Michael Jamison, Kenny Jamison, Tim Jamison, Michael Jamison, Jr, and Ted York, pallbearers need to assemble at the funeral home on Tuesday by 1:15 PM

Interment will be in the Shirley Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of arrangements for Mr. “Tim” Jamison.
