Shirley Morris

Mrs. Shirley Reed Morris, age 86, of Gillsville, Georgia, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Memorial Park Riverside Chapel with interment to follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 2:00 pm Tuesday, prior to the service. Dr. Tyler Smiley and and Dr. Tom Smiley will officiate.

Mrs. Morris was born May 5, 1936 in Georgia and was the daughter of the late Ed Reed and Cora (Veals) Reed. She was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church and was retired from Lucent Technologies in Norcross, Georgia.

She is survived by her husband, Branson Morris; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Horace Smith; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Yvonne Morris; son, Keith Morris; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren;
