Elena Florea Mocanu

Elena Florea Mocanu, age 80, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Benoni Mocanu.  She is survived by her daughter, Sanda (Emanoil) Sirbu; grandchildren, Emanuela Carmen (Max) Vicenzi, Claudiu (Anca) Sirbu; great-grandchildren, Victoria, Isabel, and Sebastian. Mrs. Mocanu was born on October 27, 1941 in Romania.  Prior to retiring, she was a nursing assistant in Lilburn, GA. 

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2022 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA with Rev. Cristi Cocian officiating.  Interment will follow at H.G. Wright Cemetery, Norcross, GA.  The family will receive guests at the Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the Service on October 1, 2022.
