Mrs. Rhonda Lynn Caples, age 61, of Flowery Branch passed away following an extended illness from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) on Sunday, October 2, 2022.
Funeral Services will be 6:00 p.m., Friday, October 7, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home. Rev. Donald McDuffie will officiate. The family will receive friends 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., Friday, October 7, 2022 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
Rhonda was born August 30, 1961 to Roland Braden and the late Ellen Norgan Braden in Bay City, Michigan. She graduated from Everest Institute in 2011 with a Medical Assistant degree and worked at Home Depot. Rhonda did not finish high school so she went back and got her GED in 2015 of which she and her family were all very proud. Rhonda, also had a talent with arts and crafts as she would create decorations/ornaments for holidays or any occasion. She was a lover of animals and nature. She was a contributor to the ASPCA and crafted many bird houses for habitat. She also enjoyed working with and
caring for plants, especially inside her family’s home.
Rhonda is survived by her husband, Brendan Caples of Flowery Branch; sons, Walker Gipp and Steven Caples of Flowery Branch; father, Roland Braden & his wife Lynne of Bradenton, Florida; and siblings, Rick Braden & his partner Betty Armstrong of Bradenton, Florida, Randy Braden & his wife Nancy of Crawfordville, Florida and Dawn Jarvis& her partner Gary Vandergrift of Morganton, Georgia.
