Winnie Mae Dalton Smith

Winnie Mae Dalton Smith age 92 of Atlanta, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022.

Born in Mount Airy, Georgia on March 22, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Clayton & Ruby Arnold Dalton. Winnie Mae worked as a seamstress and retired from Harris Sample Books, Inc. with over 25 years of dedicated service. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, gardening, and sitting on the front porch with a cup of coffee. She was also an avid Elvis Presley enthusiast. Most importantly, Winnie Mae enjoyed precious time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, J.R. Dalton & Otis Dalton; sisters, Mary Tyler, & Addie Lee Skinner.

Survivors include her children, George Wesley, Jr. & Erika Smith of Lawrenceville, GA; Elizabeth Ann & David Goff of Monroe, GA; grandchildren, Asher Benator, Jason Benator, Taylor Smith, Gabrielle Smith, Adam Smith; step-granddaughter, Austeja Januskaite ; sister & brother-in-law, Betty Jean & Doug Davidson of Homer, GA; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.

Graveside services are scheduled for 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Line Baptist Church Cemetery, 3847 Old Hwy. 441, Alto, GA. 30510.

The family will receive friends at the Line Baptist Church from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Saturday, October 15, 2022.
