Louis Peter Filoso

Mr. Louis Peter Filoso, age 92 of Flowery Branch, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Filoso was born September 6, 1930 to the late Natale & Elizabeth Filoso in Rome, New York. A veteran of the United States Army, he went on to retire as a shipping and receiving clerk with the Air Force Exchange Service. He was a member of Chicopee Baptist Church, and loved gardening and his daughter’s dog “Moxie.” 

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Willis Filoso; sons, Anthony Filoso, & Jeff Youmans, sons & daughters-in-law, Larry & Djazia Filoso, and  Peyton & Alexandra Youmans; daughter, Charlotte Murphy; sister, Anna Annania; 9 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Guy Filoso.
