Terry Lamar Skelton

Mr. Terry Lamar Skelton, age 65 of Gainesville, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at his residence following a sudden illness.        

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Ricky Swancey and Reverend Larry Knight will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 5 – 8 pm at the funeral home.          

Mr. Skelton was born February 23, 1957 to the late Hoyt Skelton and Betty Lou Swancey Skelton.  He was retired from Northeast Georgia Medical Center as a Security Officer and was a member of Community Baptist Church.  Terry was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Brenda Franklin.    

Mr. Skelton is survived by his wife, Martha Skelton of Gainesville, his daughters, Talitha Davis of Flowery Branch and Michelle Skelton of Gainesville, his grandson, Hunter Davis of Cleveland, his sisters, Sheryl Radford of Flowery Branch and Kathy Proto of Dawsonville, his nephews, Lamar Johnson and Jonathan Jarrard, his nieces, Candace King, Tia Hansard and Schyler Radford and a number of great nephews and nieces. 

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
