Mary Elizabeth Jackson Brooks

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Jackson Brooks, age 79, of Commerce, GA died Sunday, November 6, 2022 at her residence.  Mrs. Brooks was born in Jefferson to the late Lawrence and Lillie Mae Clark Jackson.  She was a member of Arcade Congregational Holiness Church and was a retired registered nurse.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by her husband, James K. Brooks.

Mrs. Brooks is survived by her son, David Barrett of Nicholson; brother, Stanley Jackson of KY; eight grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1 PM, Wednesday, November 9 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Patsy Sherwood officiating.  Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM.
