Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Brenda Joyce Landress, age 74 of Carnesville, Georgia who entered rest Monday, November 14, 2022. Mrs. Landress was born in Toccoa, Georgia the daughter of the late Winford and Hazel Kirk Westmoreland. Mrs. Landress is preceded in death by her two brothers, Gary Westmoreland and Mark Westmoreland. Mrs. Landress retired from the Transportation Department of Barrow County School System as a bus monitor.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff Landress of Carnesville, three daughters, Tracey Cleghorn (Randy) of Royston, Teresa Dearman (Randy) of Bowman, Shelly Leake, eight grandchildren, Christopher, Chad, Chase Doughty, Adam, Blake Dearman, Erica, Austin Parker, Haley Braun and twelve great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 19, 2022,
from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Eric Shelton officiating. The family will receive friends 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Evans Funeral Home.
