Carol Ann Smith, age 72, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022.
Ms. Smith was born on December 7, 1949, in Mable Falls, Texas, to the late Burnon and Frances Kerr Howell. She worked in the deli at Ingles. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her brother, Benny Howell.
Survivors include her son, Karl David Anderson; daughters, Amanda Christine Anderson, and Michele Smith Granger (Todd); grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Anderson, Jessica Leigh Bean, and Dylan James Shearer; brother, Jimmy Howell (Debbie); nephew, Steven Howell; nieces, Lindsey Howell Bryan, Mindy Howell LaBouve, and Jennifer Howell Nelson.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 26, 2022, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Dennis Turner will officiate. Interment will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. A livestream of the service can be viewed at https://vimeo.com/event/2636260
The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home, prior to the funeral service.
