Ruby Jewell Pruitt

Ruby Jewell Pruitt, age 90, of Hoschton, GA, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene T. Pruitt; parents, Jack and Annie Sharpton and son, Billy J. Pruitt.  Mrs. Pruitt is survived by her children Willie James (Judy) Sharpton of Pendergrass, GA, Herman (Debra) Pruitt of Snellville, GA, Brenda Paradise (Vernon) Cook of Flowery Branch, GA, Sanford (Viola McClure) Pruitt of Flowery Branch, GA; grandchildren, Donovan Wilson, Amanda Bagwell, Chris Sharpton, Brandy Crowe, Chris Patton, Randy Rutledge, Michael Pruitt, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mrs. Pruitt was born on July 14, 1932 in Dacula, GA.  She was a longtime member of Hebron Baptist Church and also attended Buford Church of God where she was a member of the Prime Timers senior group.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Danny Smith, Rev. Ronnie Coley and Rev. Henry Lackey and will be livestreamed.   Interment will follow the service at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery, Dacula, GA.  The family will receive friends on Monday, December 5, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home.
