Rebecca Sharron Hyder

Rebecca Sharron Hyder, age 79 of Jefferson GA, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Braselton, GA.

Known as “MeMaw” to those that loved her, Rebecca was born on June 11, 1943 to Cramond and Elizabeth Hopkins. She is survived by her son, Cramond Michael (Tammy) Hyder of Jefferson, GA. Her step-daughters; Susan Gaston of Las Vegas, NV, Sandra (Tommy) Helton of Covington, GA, and Julie Feltman of Conyers, GA. One brother, William Leroy (Cheryl) Hopkins of Tampa, FL. She has 4 grandchildren & 2 step-grandchildren; Jacob (Ashley) Hyder, Kourtney (Mack) Prater, Lindsey Cofield, Lindsey (Matt) Bowen, Luke Hyder, and Isaac Hyder. Seven great-grandchildren; Jamie, Zayne, Kendyl, Kohyn, Knox, Hazel, and MJ. Sharron also had numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. One niece, Mary Elizabeth Hopkins of Jefferson, GA and one niece, Laura Hopkins, who preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday December 27, 2022 with Memorial Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Lighthouse World Outreach Center, 609 Gene Bell Road, Monroe, GA 30655. Pastors Raymond and Cindy Hardy will be officiating.
