David “Bryan” Lewallen

Obituary Date: Monday, December 19, 2022

Mr. David “Bryan” Lewallen, 58, of Gainesville, passed away suddenly Monday, December 19, 2022 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 23, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Nix and Rev. Drewery Loggins will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on September 13, 1964 in Gainesville, he was the son of David and Shelby Fowler Lewallen.  Mr. Lewallen graduated from East Hall High School, the Class of 1982. He was a member of Pond Fork Baptist Church where he attended for 30 years, but recently attended Gillsville Baptist Church. Mr. Lewallen was retired from Northeast Georgia Medical Center after 37 years of service where he worked in Receiving.

Mr. Lewallen was preceded in death by his grandparents, Will J. and Blanche Lewallen and Rev. A.R. and Idelle Fowler.

Mr. Lewallen is survived by his parents, David and Shelby Lewallen of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Tonya and Ivan Mote of Lula; nephews, Jasper Mote and Connor Mote both of Lula; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving relatives.
