Valerie “Val” Neuman, age 46, of Buford, GA passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ellen Neuman; brother, Shawn Neuman; former husband, Todd Joyner; brother, Joey Neuman. She is survived by her father, George Neuman, St. Louis MO; children, Sky Joyner, Winder, GA, Devin Joyner, Lawrenceville, GA; boyfriend of 11 years, Terry Williamson, Buford, GA; 8 grandchildren; sister, Alicia (Andrew) Lowman, Elijay. GA; brothers, Tim Newman, Elijay, GA, Austin Kearns, Nashville, TN; numerous other relatives. Ms. Newman was born on April 12, 1976 in Tucker, GA. She was a 1993 graduate of Shiloh High School, Snellville, GA. She attended the Art Institute. She was also employed at Buford Waffle House , unit 1915 for over 10 years. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA. A Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., prior to the Service at the Funeral Home.
