Mrs. Eva Jean Austin, age 75 of Gainesville, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Memorial Park South Cemetery with interment following. Rev. Mike Thompson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
Mrs. Austin was born May 27, 1947 to the late Pat Sr. & Willie Mae England in Gainesville, Georgia. She attended both Hopewell Baptist Church & Calvary Baptist Church. An avid gardener, she loved flowers, especially roses.
She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Pam & Eddie Morgan; daughter & son-in-law, Patti & Ryan Simpson; brother, Hartwell England; sisters, Modane Stover & Margaret Merck; and granddaughter, Cassie Morgan. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Pat England, Jr. & Charles England; and sisters, Shirley Graham & Merle Humphries.
