Trung Kien Nguyen

Trung Kien Nguyen, 45, of Lawrenceville, Georgia passed away December 26, 2022 at home after an extended illness. He was born on May 17, 1977 in Vietnam.

He was the middle child and grew up with two sisters and close extended family, including many cousins with numerous loud family gatherings. He was the favorite of the matriarch of the family, his great-grandmother, and received her only piece of jewelry after her passing. He worked countless hours and was often described by employees as being the best boss they ever had. He saw the best in everyone and was always quick to share a compliment or encouraging word. He gave selflessly of his time and treasure to everyone he encountered. He was exceedingly kind and loved by all who knew him. Any spare moment he had, he tried to spend with family.

He was a very loving son to his parents and stepparents: Ban Nguyen (Tram Vo) of Gainesville, Georgia and Huong Nguyen (Ngo Thu) of Lawrenceville, Georgia; a close friend and brother to his sisters and brothers-in-law: Trinh Kim Boswell (Chris Boswell) of Gainesville, Georgia and Jennifer Thuytien McCall (Joshua McCall) of Gainesville, Georgia; a silly uncle to his nieces and nephew: Annamaria Koch, Kate McCall, and Sal McCall of Gainesville, Georgia; and a doting father to his precious children: Xander Nguyen, Cayden Nguyen, and Noelle Nguyen. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Yen Truong of Westminster, California as well as his many beloved cousins, aunts, and uncles.

The family will receive friends Friday December 30, from 5-8 p.m. at Little & Davenport Funeral Home and again on Saturday December 31, from 10-2 p.m. with a celebration of life between 1-2 p.m. on Saturday.
