Thomas Keith “Kip” Jones

Thomas Keith “Kip” Jones, age 44, of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022.

He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Lyman Bug Dollar and Kenneth Jones.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife of seventeen years, Jenna Black Jones; children, Kaitlyn Rose Jones and Kami Sue Jones; mother, Patricia Pat Dollar Jones of Buford; father, Keith Jones of Buford; brother, Kory Jones (Ashley Kersey); grandmothers, Katherine Thrasher Dollar of Buford and Ann Jones of Jefferson, GA; niece Kallie Jones of Buford; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friends James and Kelly Durham of Flowery Branch, GA; and extended family Seth, Chloe, and Rylee Durham.  

Kip loved life and his family. He was an incredible “girl dad”  and often had his toenails painted hidden in his shoes. Sundays were a special day spent with his family and riding motorcycles with his Brother, Dad, and Sparky.  Feeding his deers was a wonderful daily routine with his kids, followed by shooting the same deers with his brother and wife. He helped everyone and gave so much of himself to many. He will live through all the stories he left us to tell, and the stories we keep to ourselves to be special memories. He will be so missed but forever kept so deep inside our hearts.  Everyone will remember Skip-

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 2 and again on Tuesday, January 3 from 11:00 a.m. until time for the service at 2:30 p.m.
