Donald “Don” Scoggins, age 78, of Dacula, GA, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Annie Mae Scoggins; sisters, Ann (Dewey) Morris and Nell (Ed) Morgan. Mr. Scoggins is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sandra Owenby Scoggins; daughters, Leisa (Glen Jones) Scoggins of Maggie Valley, NC and Gina (Jay) Smith of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Zane Smith, Grey Smith; sisters, Sue (John) Fisk of Sharpsburg, GA, Joy (David) Greer of Buford, GA, Jane Scoggins of Newnan, GA; brother, Dan (Doris) Scoggins of Atlanta, GA. Mr. Scoggins was born on August 24, 1944 in Atlanta, GA and graduated in 1962 from Walter F. George High School in Atlanta. He worked at Foote and Davies for 37 years and worked at Stevens Graphics for 11 years, retiring in 2010. Don was a member of Sugar Hill United Methodist Church aka Church of the Hill and member of the Fellowship Sunday School class. He was an avid golfer and his top priority in life was to love his family. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
