Perry Anthony Jarrett

Perry Anthony Jarrett was born on September 12, 1957 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Clarence and Eulene Jarrett. He departed this life on January 3, 2023 at NE Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness. 

Perry graduated from East Hall High School in 1975. While there, he was a great softball player. Following graduation, he joined the United States Army. After his duty, he returned home and went to work at SKF until he retired. 

Perry was always lending a helping hand to others. He was the community “taxi” driver. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends at, The Spot, and playing the lottery. Before his illness, he loved to travel. Perry loved watching football and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was the “jokester” at family gatherings. His kind spirit will be remembered by all who knew him. 

Perry was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Emmanuel Drew Holland. 

He leaves to cherish his memories to his devoted, loving wife of 26 years, Sabrina Jarrett; his loving children, Tekila Jarrett, Taris Jarret, and Amber (Antoine) Quinnie; joys of his heart, grandchildren, Makaila Gardner, Charmaine Perry, and Alivia Quinnie; special nephew/son, AnQuon Cheeks; siblings, Terry Jarrett, Cheryl (Lester) Harris, and Charlyne Holland; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

II Timothy Chapter 4 Verses 7 & 8: I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteousness will give to me on that day, and not to me only but also to all who loved his appearing. 

The visitation for Mr. Jarrett will be held Saturday, January 7th between the hour of 10-11am. Celebration of Life will follow at 11am. All services will be held at Memorial Park Chapel North. Professional Service Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
