Sue Seabolt Cisson

Sue Seabolt Cisson, age 76, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023. She was born in Dahlonega on June 21, 1946, to the late Ernest "E.J." Seabolt and the late Laura Corn Seabolt. Sue will forever be remembered as a Bible-believing, devoted Christian. She loved her Lord, her church, and reading her Bible. The love of Christ would often shine through Sue by her passion for cooking for others and through her hospitality. She always would put others first and was the definition of a selfless woman. Sue was also passionate about gardening and always kept beautiful vegetables and flowers for her friends and family. In addition, she was an animal lover and donated much of her time to the TLC Humane Society, caring for those who needed it most.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Hubert Seabolt.

She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Gene Cisson of Dahlonega; children Megan (Tim) Swearingen of Dacula and Gavin (Marci) Cisson of Dahlonega; siblings Jerry Seabolt and David Seabolt; grandchildren Ryan, Riley, Jalyn and Brayden. Numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives also survive.

It was Mrs. Cisson's wish to be cremated. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 11, 2023, from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. Private inurnment will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Sue may be made to the TLC Humane Society at 1735 Red Oak Flats Road, Dahlonega, Georgia 30533.
