Douglas Roberts

Douglas Roberts, age 66, of Cornelia, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Mr. Roberts was born on May 24, 1956 in Hall County, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father, William Cecil Roberts. Douglas was of the Holiness Faith. He was a loving and dedicated son and brother. Douglas has worked in construction with his step-father for several years.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Grace and Levis Gerrell, of Alto; sister and brother-in-law, Vickie and Darrell Johnson, of Jefferson; brother, Randy Roberts, of Gainesville; and brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Madoka Roberts, of Gwinnett County.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 10, 2023 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Rev. Scott Ledbetter and Rev. Keith Phagan officiating. Interment will follow in the former, Mt. Sinai Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 9, 2023 at the funeral home.
