Cammie Hamilton-Dodd

Mrs. Cammie Hamilton-Dodd, age 39, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023.

Cammie was born in Hall County on August 17, 1983. She is a graduate of White County High School. Cammie loved to take trips to the beach in the summer and any season to Pigeon Forge, TN. She loved her family, and the love they shared was immeasurable. Cammie was a faithful member of Diamond Hill Baptist Church, where she loved to serve in any way she could, and for several years, she directed Vacation Bible School. Cammie fought a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma Cancer.

Survivors include her husband, Andrew Dodd; daughters Lillyan Hamilton, Sophie Dodd, Elsie Dodd; niece Everleigh Reese all of Cleveland; parents Lamar and Ronda Hamilton, Cleveland; brother Tyler Hamilton, Cleveland; maternal grandfather, David Ravan (Ann); maternal grandmother Madeline Fowler, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, February 24, 2023, at Diamond Hill Baptist Church, Maysville, GA. The Rev. Greg Poole will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with the Rev. Chris Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or donate blood to the American Red Cross in memory of Cammie.
