Howard Eugene Pearson, Sr.

Mr. Howard Eugene Pearson, Sr., age 86, of Commerce, GA died Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Northridge Health and Rehab.  Mr. Pearson was born in Athens to the late Harvey Newton and Bertie Mae Goodrum Pearson.  He was a member of Center United Methodist Church and was retired from the University of Georgia.

Mr. Pearson is survived by his wife, Rosetta Willene Wright Pearson of Commerce; sons, Gene Pearson, Jr. of Athens and Brad Pearson of Locust, NC; step-daughter, Cherie Morrison of Commerce; sisters, Willette Jackson of Center, Vonnie Parnell, Belinda Smith and Rebecca Bradberry all of Athens; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, February 28 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home.
