James Monroe Campbell

James Monroe Campbell, age 70, of Buford, GA passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Violet Campbell; sister, Deborah Lawson; brothers, Tommy Campbell, Joseph Shannon.  He is survived by his children, Dawn Jackson, Buford, GA, Terry Campbell, Buford, GA, Bobby (Corey) Campbell, Wake Forest, NC; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dennis Campbell, Kingsland, GA, Keith (Phyllis) Campbell, Eatonton, GA, David (Jean) Campbell, Rome, GA; sisters-in-law, Brenda Campbell, Zebulon, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mr. Campbell was born on February 2, 1953 in Atlanta, GA.  He received his education at Fulton High School in Atlanta, GA.  He was a retired Truck Driver from Campbell Transit Corporation.  He was a member of Buford First Pentecostal Church.  A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, 2023 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA with Pastor Jordan Copeland officiating.  Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford GA with Military Honors.  The Family will Receive Friends from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Flanigan Funeral Home.
