Glenda Wilson Smith

Glenda Wilson Smith, age 74, of Flowery Branch, GA., passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Anthony Smith; parents, C.E. “Tex” Wilson and Clara Griffis Wilson. Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband of 60 years, George Smith of Flowery Branch, GA; sister, Robin W. (Gerald) Wilson of Horse Cave, KY.; brothers, Mickey (Diane) Wilson and Mack (Mary Ellen) Wilson , of Sweet Water, TN.; sisters-in-law, Lillian (Paul) Armbruster of Lawrenceville, GA., Frances Davis of Cordova, AL.; Special nephew, Beau (Natalie) Wilson of Gainesville, GA. and other nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friends, Linda Hill of Bethlehem, GA. and Mary Martin of Buford, GA.  Mrs. Wilson was born August 30, 1948 in Orange Park, FL.  She received her education in the Fulton County School System, Atlanta, GA.  She was a Homemaker and a member of Friendship Community Baptist Church, Buford, GA.  She enjoyed helping people in the community and her church.  A Funeral Service with be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 6, 2023 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA., with Pastor Gary Wilson officiating.  Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA. The Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 5, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
