Maria Eudocia Lopez

Ms. Maria Eudocia Lopez, age 75 of Gainesville, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at her residence. 

Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Father Ignacio Morales will officiate. The family will receive friends and relatives from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home. 

Ms. Lopez was born March 1, 1948 to the late Esteban Lopez & Margarita Olivarez in El Bajio, San Juan de los Lagos, Jalisco, Mexico. 

She is survived by her children, Lucia Martin, Jose Ruben Martin, Luis Alberto Martin (Ludmila Campos), Maria Beatriz Martin, Graciela Martin, Estela Martin (Manuel Cortez), & Jose DeJesus Martin (Dana Nytrova); grandchildren, Moises Vargas, Jesus Vargas, Christal Marie Martin, Stephanie Lauren Martin, Ludmila Ramirez Campos, Uriel Alberto Martin Campos, Erika Luisa Martin-Campos, Hector Ortiz Martin, Jocelyn Ortiz-Martin, Ivan Alexander Martin, Liliana Cortez, Manuel Cortez, David Cortez, & Celeste Cortez; great-grandchildren, Dania Alyssa Vargas & Bryan Moises Vargas; and siblings, Jose de la Luz Lopez Olivarez, Santos Lopez Olivarez, Pedro Lopez Olivarez, Gaudencio Lopez Olivarez, Luisa Lopez Olivarez & Ricardo Lopez Olivarez.
