Dorothy Ann (Brown) Moon

Dorothy Ann (Brown) Moon, age 76 of Buford, GA., passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her parents James and Charlie Mae Green Brown; sister, Doris Caldwell; brothers, Harod D. Brown, Raleigh Brown, Frankie D. Brown, and Wimp Brown. Ms. Moon is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Brown of Buford, and Melinda Moon (David) Sadler of Buford; grandson, Joseph Edward Brown of Buford; great-grandchildren, Nathan Brown, Aurora Brown; sisters, Linda (Wilmer) Jones, Betty Brown, Martha Haywood, Joyce Brown; sister-in-law, Rosie Brown; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Ms. Moon was born June 14, 1946 in Buford, GA.  She was a 1964 graduate of Buford High School and was a Homemaker.  She loved sewing, fishing, reading her bible and spreading the gospel.  The Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 3:00 p.m., at the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Bishop Earl Bell officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Flanigan Funeral Home.
