Perry Steven Buckner, Jr.

Mr. Perry Steven Buckner, Jr., 81, of Gainesville passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in North Carolina.

Born on August 22, 1941, he was the son of the late Perry Steven Buckner, Sr. and the late Gertrude Biggs Buckner.  He was a retired minister.

Mr. Buckner is survived by his wife, Betty Knapp Buckner of Gainesville; son, Steve Buckner of Blountsville, TN; son and daughter in law, Tim and Angela Buckner of Hiawassee, GA; brother, Johnny Buckner of Black Mountain, NC; sister, Denise Hill of Bradenton, FL; grandchildren, Zachery Buckner, Ana Harris, Grace McKinnis, Isaac Buckner, Kayla Buckner, Aaron Buckner, Abby Bowles; 3 great grandchildren and a number of other loving relatives.
