Harold Terry Jones

Harold Terry Jones, age 71 of Dahlonega entered rest Friday April 7, 2023 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville.

Terry was born January 15, 1952 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late William Charles & Beverly Ann Williamson Jones. He earned his bachelor's degree from Georgia Southern University and served his Country in the United States Navy. Terry loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest. He enjoyed fishing & playing his guitar. At one point in his life he was the drummer for 38 Special. He was a great handyman, he could do anything and enjoyed it. Terry was a member of Dahlonega united Methodist Church, & was preceded in death by his first wife, Anglea Lingle.

Surviving are his loving family, sons, Benjamin Charles (Leigha) Jones, Joshua Terry (Carlie) Jones, Samuel Woodley (Nikki) Jones; daughter, Anna Vallie (Wesley) Jones; grandchildren, Charlie, Violet, Lakeleigh, Jaelie, Raleigh, JoJo, Vallie & Wesley; brother, Tracy Jones; sister, Jackie Knight; special friend, Laura Ledford; a number of other family members also survive.

Per Terry's request, they are carrying out his wishes to be cremated & spread at sea.
