Jandon Ivie Pitts-Allen

Jandon Ivie Pitts-Allen, age 41, of Cornelia, Georgia met her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.

Ms. Pitts-Allen was born on July 20, 1981 in Habersham County, Georgia to Richard Don and Janice Ivie Pitts. She was preceded in death by her companion, Corey Allen, of Cornelia; paternal grandparents, Rev. JL and Zadie Pitts; maternal grandparents, JT and Nettie Ivie.

Jandon was a Gradate of Habersham Central High School Class of 2000 as well as a former member of the Habersham Band of Blue. She had attended North Georgia Technical School and served as a Communications Officer for both Habersham County Emergency Services as well as Banks County Emergency Services. She was also a member of Level Grove Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star Cornelia Chapter # 93. Jandon will be remembered as a loving mother, daughter, sister and aunt.

Jandon is survived by her parents, Richard Don and Janice Ivie Pitts, of Cornelia; daughter, Zadie Keegan Lyric Pitts, of Cornelia; brothers, Shane Pitts, of Cornelia; Jud (Sinny Keomany) Pitts, of Cornelia; sisters, Rhonda (Michael) Cleveland, of Mt. Airy, Maryland; Allison (Steve) Massey, of Jefferson; Dondra Pitts, of Lavonia; special niece, Katelyn Pitts, of Honea Path, SC; as well as an uncle, and several aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 21, 2023 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Rev. Terry Rice and Rev. Daniel Parker officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m., Sunday, May 21, 2023 at the funeral home prior to the service.
