Janice Wylie Peevy

Janice Wylie Peevy, age 85, of Buford, GA passed away on May 15, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, Jerry Peevy; parents, Ralph Wylie and Catherine B. Martin; brother, Ricky Clack.  Mrs. Peevy is survived by daughter, Cyndi (Kerry) Porter of Buford; grandchildren, Kaylea (Jeremiah) King of Winder, GA, Krysti (Lee) Nunn of Kyle, TX, Adalina (Colby) Croy of Moultrie, GA; 4 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sandra Crow of Buford; niece, Judi Edwards; nephew, Darrell Crow; several cousins and special family friend, Laura Roberts of Flowery Branch, GA. Mrs. Peevy was born on May 15, 1938 in Buford, GA.  She was a 1956 graduate of Buford High School. Mrs. Peevy retired after thirty-eight years as an office manager with Holiday Yacht Marine.  She was a member of Whispering Hope Baptist Church in Cumming, GA.  Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Dunn officiating.  Interment will follow at Gravel Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
