Joyce Westerfield Wilson

Joyce Westerfield Wilson, age 77, of Austin, Texas, formerly of Athens, Gainesville, and Habersham, Georgia passed away February 13, 2023. She was born in Lexington, Kentucky on September 28, 1945. Joyce received a degree in Psychology from North Georgia College.   
Joyce was married to Ron Wilson and had a career in social work. She was a member  of Gainesville First United Methodist Church.   

She was survived by her husband Ron Wilson; her children Larry Aaron Jr., Matthew Aaron, and Merri Su Ruhmann; grandchildren Ben, Emily, Andrew, Annabel, and Charlotte; siblings Roma Westerfield, Patricia Westerfield Platt, and Doris Westerfield Cherry. 

Her memorial service will be in the Chapel of Gainesville First United Methodist Church on June 17, 2023, at 2 p.m.  The family will receive friends after the service in the Reception Hall. In lieu o f flowers the family requests donations to?www.habershamhumane.org
